Dolch Sight Words

Sight words are some of the most common words in the English language. Small children are predominantly visual learners and therefore the use of sight words is a more effective way of learning how to read. Combined with an appropriate phonics curriculum these flashcards will help provide balanced reading instruction for your child and students.

Although the flashcards are grouped by grade, most professional educators require their students to be proficient in all of the Dolch words by the end of first grade.
